The Rio Algom Limited Bursaries
Value: $1,500/ea. Recipients: eight full-time students entering the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Extractive Metallurgy or Mining Engineering program, and whose studies involve mining-related environmental rehabilitation; AND, two full-time students from the Serpent River First Nations, who are enrolled in any year of any program. Selection is based on financial need and Ontario residency as defined by OSAP. Application required.
Windsor Plywood Practical Nursing Awards
2 awards, $300 each; one for Practical Nursing students and one for Practical Nursing Access students. Selection based on academic achievement, quality of clinical practice and participation/leadership in student activities. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by April 30.
