1 award, $1,000; for Forestry students returning to 2nd year of the Forest Resources Technology program at Malaspina who demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a career as a Forest Professional and obtain Registered Forest Technologist (RFT), or Registered Professional Forester (RPF) registration with the ABCFP; OR a graduating Forestry student returning to any accredited post secondary institution in Canada to take further Forestry courses (or related courses) aimed specifically toward a career in Professional Forestry with the goal of obtaining Registered Professional Forester (RPF) registration with the ABCFP. Preference to students who exhibit a combination of academic achievement, leadership and involvement in extracurricular Forestry activities. Apply in writing to the Forestry Department by April 1st, clearly identifying program of studies and study goal. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
