The Dr. Edna L. Moore Entrance Scholarship
A gift from the friends and colleagues of the late Dr. Edna L. Moore, the first Public Health Nurse in the Ontario Ministry of Health. Having been previously active in a national organization for public health nursing in the United States, she received an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1957. Value: $150. Recipient: the 1st-year student enrolled in the School of Nursing with the highest academic standing. The student may not be in receipt of any other major award. The faculty of the School of Nursing makes the selection.
