The R.J. Askin Memorial Scholarship
Donated by Abitibi-Price Inc. (Toronto), in memory of the late Robert J. Askin, a former Governor of the University and a member of the Board from its inception until his death in 1961. Mr. Askin demonstrated a keen interest in the affairs of the University and contributed greatly to engineering. Value: $700. Recipient: a 1st-year student enrolled in any program, on the basis of academic excellence in an Ontario secondary school (in six OACs or U/M courses).
