History Department Prize

Valued at $250.00 and created in 2003 by the Francophone faculty members of the History Department, the prize is awarded, normally in April of each year, to a student enrolled in the History program having successfully completed at least 2 required History courses taught in French and having submitted the best essay (minimum of 2500 words) in a French language History course at the undergraduate level (HIST 4055 excluded). A jury, consisting of Francophone faculty members, will make the final selection from essays submitted (with the students consent) by History Department professors.
