The Leadership Awards Program
Value: $1,000. Recipients: 1st-year students in any program who exemplify strong leadership potential and good citizenship, and who have contributed in a positive way to making their school and community a better place. Candidates must be nominated by the principal or head of guidance at their secondary school, and must register as full-time students in the year they are selected to receive the award. Each school may nominate only one student. Application for Leadership Awards Program required.
Coast Salish Employment Training Society Award
Established by CSETS to encourage members of CSETS communities to pursue careers in Trades. Available to: Students from Coast Salish communities on southern Vancouver Island who embarking on Trades training at Camosun College. Major Criteria : Commitment to the trade of choice, community reference.

Cowichan Campus Memorial Award
1 award, $500; available to support promising First Nations and/or female students at the Cowichan Campus, with preference to students enrolled in Creative Writing, Arts, or Women's Studies. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards Office by January 15. Funds issued in March.
Myrtle Bergren Creative Writing Award
1 award, $300; for full or part-time creative writing students demonstrating promise in the field, who intend to pursue further studies in creative writing at Malaspina or at a BC University. No application necessary. Funds issued in March.
Real Estate Foundation of BC Bursary
2 bursaries, $500 each; for financial need; available to students enrolled in real estate related courses and planning to pursue a career in the real estate field.

Bite of Campbell River Bursary
This award is available to a student in the Culinary Arts program at North Island College's Campbell River Campus. The student can be attending on a full-time or part-time basis and must have a demonstrated financial need.
Blake & Tyler Peck Memorial Award
