Industrial Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA)
These awards are meant to stimulate your interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies and to pursue a research career in these fields. If you would like to gain research experience in an industrial setting, these awards can provide you with financial support through your host company. NSERC encourages qualified Aboriginal students to apply to this program.
Robert Bruce Scholarships
Bequeathed by the late Robert Bruce, of Quebec City. Two scholarships, awarded for high academic standing to students entering the final year by the Faculty of Science Scholarships Committee. Value: $200 each.
John M. Walkley Jr. R.C.N.V.R. Memorial Award
Awarded to the student achieving the highest academic merit in the penultimate year of the Honours Chemistry Program. Awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Chemistry. Value: $850.

Jamie Smith Memorial Award
Awards totalling $1,800 have been endowed by family and friends in memory of Jamie Smith to enable undergraduate students in Zoology, Botany or Forestry who are studying ecology to attend field courses. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of Zoology.

Dr. Jack Margulius Memorial Prize
A $100 prize is awarded to a student in the third or fourth year who has an outstanding record in internal medicine.
James and Mildred Oldfield Scholarship
The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems to an undergraduate student in the Faculty.
Malcolm F. McGregor Memorial Scholarship
Scholarships to a total of $3,200 are offered to a graduate student in Classics and are made on the recommendation of the Department in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Dean of Land and Food Systems Scholarship
Scholarships totalling $1,000 have been endowed by alumni and friends of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. The awards are offered to undergraduate students in Land and Food Systems and are made on the recommendation of the Faculty.
