Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA)
These awards are meant to stimulate your interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies and pursue a research career in these fields. If you would like to gain research experience in an academic setting, these awards can provide you with financial support through your host university. NSERC encourages qualified Aboriginal students to apply to this program.
BCTF Maxwell A. Cameron Memorial Award
1 award, $250; available to outstanding students graduating from the Bachelor of Education program, based on recommendation of the Dean and the Faculty of Education. No application necessary. (Awarded in December)
Recreation and Tourism Award
1 award, $200; for high academic achievement; available to first year students in the Recreation diploma or Tourism & Recreation Management degree program, returning for second year. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
