Conditions: To be awarded annually to an undergraduate student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies, specializing in painting or print-making in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing (on a minimum of 4 full-course equivalents, 3 of which must be senior studies courses taken during the preceding academic year) and a portfolio review. In the event of a tie this scholarship may be divided between two recipients. At the discretion of the Department of Art and Design, this scholarship may be renewed if the recipient is entering either the fourth year of the BFA degree program or the first-year of the MFA degree program.
