Forest Industry Suppliers and Logging Association Award
Conditions: To be awarded annually to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing of at least 2.7 entering the second, third, or fourth year of the Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree program or the Bachelor of Science in Forest Business Management degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Enviromental Sciences. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing and demonstrated leadership experience through work programs or volunteer experiences in the field of forestry. Preference will be given to students with a demonstrated financial need and/or who had to relocate at least 50 kilometers from their Alberta place of primary residence to attend university.
Women Associates of McGill Scholarship
For high academic standing to an undergraduate student having completed at least one year of the B.Mus. program. Value: $1,500.
McGill Alumnae Octavia Grace Ritchie England Scholarship
Established in 1979 in memory of the late Octavia Grace Ritchie England, first woman Valedictorian. Awarded a distinguished student with preference to women. Tenable in the Faculty of Science. Value: $2,000.
Muriel Roscoe Prize in Biology
Established in 1981 by Dr. and Mrs. Hirsh Rosenfeld in honour of Professor Muriel Roscoe. Awarded to a graduating student of high academic merit in Biology on the recommendation of the Department of Biology. Value: $400.
The Ronald K. Ham Memorial Prize (E, S)
Awarded to the student who has completed Level I and at least an additional 60 units and who, in the judgment of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, shows most promise as a materials scientist or engineer.
The Hellenic Prize (H)
To be awarded to a student entering Level IV who has completed at least 12 units in subjects pertaining to Greek studies and who, in the judgment of the Faculty of Humanities, demonstrates outstanding academic achievement in Greek studies.
Rotary Club of Salmon Arm Scholarship
One annual award of $1,000 is given to a Salmon Arm Campus student by the Rotary Club of Salmon Arm. Students are expected to register at a recognized institution to continue their education.
