Frank Aherne Undergraduate Award
Conditions: Awarded to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 entering or enrolled in the fourth year of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Enviromental Sciences who is enhancing or planning to enhance his or her educational program with a hands-on learning experience related to food animal production. This will include practical experience in a professional, industrial, or research setting (at the University of Alberta, a partner institution or a government research facility). Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and the proposed experiential learning opportunity.
Cy and Emerald Keyes Charitable Foundation Entrance Award
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
