-Recipients must be continuing students enrolled in three or more courses in any UCFV credit program (UCFV will confirm enrollment before funds are released)

-Students must demonstrate financial need

-Recipients must be a Canadian citizen

Talisman Oil and Gas Field Operations Award (Aboriginal)

Award Criteria: Aboriginal student enrolled in the Oil and Gas Field Operations program positive attitude above average attendance grades of C+ or better preference to students residing in the Peace River region

Brissenden Scholarship in Humanities

A $1,500 scholarship has been made available through the Vancouver Foundation by Mr. and Mrs. P.R. Brissenden for an outstanding student in the Humanities. The scholarship is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts.

It is awarded to a British Columbia student with good standing at the University who is proceeding to the second, third or fourth year of the pre-veterinary program at the University. In making the award, consideration is given to the financial circumstances of eligible candidates.

Amanda Araba Ocran Memorial Award
