Powell River Women's Network Bursary
1 bursary, $300; for financial need; available to part-time or full-time female students enrolled in any program at the Powell River Campus, whose goal is to re-enter the workforce.
The CIBC Wood Gundy Children's Miracle Bursaries
Value: $1,000/ea. Recipients: full-time students entering any year of any program, on the basis of demonstrated financial need and Ontario residency as defined by OSAP. Application required.
Herbert E. Siblin Award
Established by Herbert E. Siblin, B.Com. 1950, F.C.A. Awarded by the Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee to the outstanding graduating student in the Accounting program demonstrating excellence in Auditing. Value: $500.
Dorothy Esme Graham Snell Scholarship
Established in 1992 by the late Dorothy Snell, B.Com. 1940, to recognize academic achievement. Awarded by the Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee to a student who has completed at least one year of the B.Com. program. Value: $1,800.
McGill Alumnae Society Prize
Presented upon graduation to a distinguished student for excellence and high academic standing. Preference given to women students. Value: $150.
The Political Science Prize (SS)
To be awarded to a graduating student who has completed a program in Political Science primarily on a part-time basis and who, in the judgment of the Department of Political Science, has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
Made in the North Awards
Northern Savings is offering awards for students enrolled in the Applied Coastal Ecology Program and the Culinary Arts Program. Graduates of these unique, community-based programs will be well positioned to live and work in the northwest.
