Annual scholarship in the amount of $2500 established by the School's Associated Alumni. Factors considered are academic excellence and evidence of a commitment to a career in librarianship. All incoming students are automatically considered; no application is necessary.
Fred Clozza Memorial Awards
4 awards, $250 each; for financial need; available to students in Career & Academic Preparation (ABE) at Nanaimo or Cowichan Campus, showing strength or career direction in math or science. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards Office by January 15. Funds issued in March.
Dora Forsyth Prize
Bequeathed by the late Miss Jeanie Forsyth for English Literature. Open to women students only and awarded on the recommendation of the Department of English. Value: $550.
McGill Alumnae 75th Anniversary Scholarship
Established in honour of the Alumnae Society's 75th anniversary. Awarded to a distinguished woman student in the Faculty of Engineering including Architecture. Value: $2,000.
Coldwater Indian Band Award

Right Honourable Don Mazankowski Scholarship
A $1,400 scholarship has been endowed by the Don Mazankowski Scholarship Foundation and The University of British Columbia for an undergraduate student majoring or honouring in Genetics or in Cell Biology and Genetics. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Science.
Ethlyn Trapp Memorial Scholarship in Medicine
The awards are offered to students in second, third or fourth year Medicine, with preference given to students with demonstrated interest in women's health. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. W. A. Whitelaw Scholarship
As a memorial to Dr. W. A. Whitelaw his family has endowed a scholarship of $900 for a student entering the final year of Medicine who has good scholastic standing and needs financial assistance.
