-Scholarships will be awarded to African Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Masters or Doctoral programmes at Dalhousie University.
-Applicants with first class standing in their undergraduate programme who are intending to pursue studies in any discipline in which Dalhousie offers graduate degrees are welcome to apply once they have been accepted into a programme.
-Applications may also be submitted by departments for eligible students who have been accepted into a graduate programme.
-While any discipline is eligible, applications are particularly encouraged from students whose programme of study has the potential to contribute to African Canadian community enhancement and advancement.
-Award recipients will be identified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Scholarship Committee.
