A $600 prize has been endowed by alumni and friends of the Department of Language and Literacy for a masters or doctoral student in the Faculty of Education who is focusing on English as a second language. The prize is made on the recommendation of the Department of Language and Literacy.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
Criteria: Attained the highest GPA in the Environmental Technology Program. Completing the final year of the Environmental Technology Program.
