Agnes and Gilbert Hooley Scholarship in Chemistry
A $1,800 scholarship has been endowed by their colleagues and friends for a third-year chemistry student continuing into a fourth-year chemistry program at UBC. Preference is given to students who indicate some awareness of the social role of science. The Hooley Fund Committee may interview candidates, and awards are made after consultation with the Department of Chemistry. Application should be made to the Department of Chemistry by April 1. The award is made in the following September.
