The McMaster University Retirees Association Scholarship (SS)
To be awarded to the student who has completed Level I and at least an additional 30 units of a program in Gerontology and who attains the highest Sessional Average. The student must enrol in a program in Gerontology in the subsequent Fall/Winter session.
Alberni-Clayoquot Innovation Society Bursary
This entrance award is available to a student enrolling in any fulltime program at NIC's Port Alberni Campus. The recipient must have demonstrated financial need.
Robert Driscoll Memorial Prize in Medicine
The award is offered to an outstanding 3rd or 4th year student with preference given to a student from a rural community. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
Susan Matties Nadel Memorial Prize
A $100 prize has been endowed for the graduating medical student who has shown the greatest interest and excellence in hematological neoplasia. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty.
Rhoda and Al Boggie M.D. Entrance Bursary
Bursaries totalling $1,125 have been endowed in honour of Rhoda and Al Boggie (B.A.1950, M.D.1954) for students entering the first year of the M.D. Program who graduated from secondary schools located outside the Greater Vancouver Regional District or the Capital Region District.
Dr. Clay Hallman Memorial Scholarship for Proficiency in Removable Prosthetics
The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty to a student entering the final year of Dentistry and is based on proficiency in the third year, in the field of removable prosthetics.
Martin R. Tupper Memorial Award in Civil Engineering
The award is offered to an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering who participates and provides leadership in intramurals or in the Engineering Undergraduate Society and is made on the recommendation of the Department of Civil Engineering.
