Named after long time Comox Valley resident and businessman Edward William T. Bickle, this College-wide bursary is available to a continuing student who has maintained a satisfactory academic standing and has a demonstrated financial need. The recipient may attend on a full-time or part-time basis and will be pursuing a career in journalism, writing, or an associated study. Preference will be given to a student who is a single parent or son or daughter of a single parent. Involvement in community service or citizenship will also be considered. This award will be applied to tuition fees upon registration.
