This award is available to a student attending North Island College at any location other than the Comox Valley Campus. The recipient of this award will have completed first year English in the preceding term and successfully completed at least two other first year university transfer courses. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the highest grades achieved in the first year English course. First year English shall be understood to mean courses in composition and literature, which have transfer credit with the universities in BC.
