Oliver Lions Club Bursary
The Oliver Lions Club has established an annual award of $1,000 for a student who is a permanent resident of Oliver and who has completed one or more years of full-time study in a university transfer, degree or diploma program at the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College. The recipient will be returning to the Penticton Campus or proceeding to the Kelowna Campus the following September for a subsequent year of full-time study. If no suitable candidate is found in a particular year, eligibility will be extended to students proceeding to any post-secondary institution. Selection of the award recipient will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.
