The James Miltimore Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund has been established by Kootenay Okanagan Electric Consumers Association to provide an annual award of up to $250 for a student who is a permanent resident of the Kootenay/Okanagan area and who has completed one or more years of full-time study with a focus on the environment and conservation in either the Science program or a technology program at the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College. The recipient will be continuing full-time study the following September. Preference will be given to those applicants returning to Okanagan College. Selection of the award recipient will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.
