The Okanagan Classic Thunderbird Club provides an annual award of $1,000 for a student who has completed Level I and has enrolled in Level II of the Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program (February to March intake) at Okanagan College. The recipient must be a permanent resident of the Okanagan College region, and must be intending to pursue a career in the automotive industry. Selection of the award recipient will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need.
Postings and application forms will be forwarded to the Automotive Service Technician department each year to make available to eligible students. Completed applications must be received at the Student Services Welcome Centre by the posted deadline date.
