RALPH M. COLLINS AND RUTH GILMOUR COLLINS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN ENGINEERING
Established in 2005 in memory of Ralph M. Collins, an engineering graduate from the University of Alberta, and Ruth Gilmour Collins, B.A. 1935, for outstanding undergraduate students having completed at least one year of a B.Eng. program. Awarded on the basis of high academic standing by the Faculty of Engineering Scholarships Committee.
Value: minimum $3,000.
Academic Excellence Scholarship
All secondary high school students with average of 95% or 34 IB points or better are eligible.
Veronica Milner Memorial Award
1 award, $300; for Horticulture Technician students working hands-on in garden and woodland maintenance, design construction and documentation at Milner Gardens. No application necessary. Funds issued in June.
Otilya & Thomas Ploos Van Amstel Bursary
2 bursaries, up to $500 each; for financial need and satisfactory academic standing; available to students undertaking a Nursing program or Home Support Resident Care Attendant program leading to work in the geriatric or senior citizens health care field.

Scholarships totalling $12,300 have been endowed by alumni and friends for students in Engineering. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science, and in the case of graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Positron Engineering Scholarship (Senior Year)
