Emanuel Tavares Memorial Prize
Established by Mr. Anabal C. Tavares in memory of his son, Emanuel, who died on March 13th, 1985 while a McGill student. Awarded to a graduating student with high standing in the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Science. The prize will be given in each faculty in alternate years beginning with the Faculty of Arts in June 1987. Awarded by the faculty scholarships committees.

Barbie Ross Memorial Award
Value $1,000. Awarded annually on the recommendation of the Residence University Management and Policy Board to a full-time student in good academic standing who has demonstrated active participation in the affairs of the Carleton University residence community.
Don F. Hammond Scholarship
1 award, $300; for academic standing, instructor recommendation and promise in the field of silviculture; available to second-year Forest Resources Technology students. No application necessary. Funds issued in March.
Recreation and Tourism Award
1 award, $200; for high academic achievement; available to first year students in the Recreation diploma or Tourism & Recreation Management degree program, returning for second year. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Powell River Women's Network Bursary
1 bursary, $300; for financial need; available to part-time or full-time female students enrolled in any program at the Powell River Campus, whose goal is to re-enter the workforce.
Dora Forsyth Prize

Dr. David Peters Music Scholarship
It will be awarded annually to a student in an undergraduate Music degree programme who, in the opinion of the Department, demonstrates outstanding achievement in organ, piano, harpsichord or keyboard performance, choral music or other church performance. The minimum value of the scholarship is $400.
