THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY
One entrance award of $6,000 will be made annually to a full-time student entering Lakehead University in the first year of an undergraduate degree program. The Award is restricted to the immediate family of Lakehead University Alumni. The immediate family is defined as: sister, brother, child, parent, grandparent, spouse and grandchild. Applicants must have completed an OSSD including six Grade 12U and M courses or equivalent, with a nimimum overall average of 80%. Applicants must have displayed leadership ability and community involvement. A copy of the student's most recent transcript is required. This scholarship is not tenable with a Lakehead University Northwestern Ontario Leaders' Scholarship nor the Lakehead University Presidential Scholarship.

W.M. Birks Awards
Awarded to the students graduating with the best records in the B.A. (Religious Studies), B.Th., S.T.M., or M.A. (Religious Studies) programs. Awarded by the appropriate faculty. Value: $200 each.
Sanskrit Prize
Awarded for the highest standing in the Introductory Sanskrit course offered in the Faculty of Religious Studies. Awarded by the Faculty. Value: $200.
The Agnes And John MacNeill Memorial Prize (H)
To be awarded to the student graduating from an Honours program in English who has attained the most notable standing in English throughout the degree program.
The Marie L. Stock Scholarship (H)
To be awarded to the student who has completed Level I and an additional 60 - 75 units of an Honours program in French and who, in the judgment of the Department of French, has achieved notable academic standing.
Clayton Person Memorial Prize in Biology
The prize is awarded to the student having the highest standing in BIOL 334/335 (Genetics), and is made on the recommendation of the Department of Botany.
Physics and Astronomy Graduate Scholarship
Scholarships totalling $7,000 have been endowed for incoming or continuing graduate students at the Masters or Ph.D. level in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department on the basis of academic ability and promise.
