Tommy Douglas Scholarship


Winner will be determined on the basis of a 750 to 1,000 word essay on:

How Tommy Douglas' life contributed to making Canada a more just and equitable society.

An application form must be completed and accompany the essay.

ELIGIBILITY:
All children/grandchildren (including foster children/grandchildren) of National Union of Public and General Employees' current/retired members who plan to enter the 1st year of a Canadian public, post-secondary institution full-time in 2018 / 2019 are eligible to apply.

AWARD:
The amount of the scholarship is $1,500. Information provided by the winner will be verified prior to awarding of the scholarship.
