Thomas Chong Memorial Awards

Conditions: To be awarded annually, one award to a Golden Bear and one award to a Panda, to students with satisfactory academic standing (on a minimum of 18 credits taken during the previous academic year) who are members of the University of Alberta Swim Team. Recipients will be selected on the basis of excellence in their sport, leadership qualities, and a demonstrated commitment to the team. Preference will be given to athletes who have competed in the sport of diving and who are not already in receipt of other financial awards (ie Jimmie Condon, Universiade, National Carding).
