The Sid Forster Memorial Award
Established by family and friends of the late Sidney Clair "Sid" Forster as a tribute to his dedication and commitment to his family and community. Value: 5% of the endowment ($590). Recipient: a 1st-year student enrolled in any undergraduate program. The student must: (1) have demonstrated the greatest improvement in academic standing in secondary school studies; (2) have made a contribution to her or his school or community; (3) have demonstrated financial need; (4) be a resident of the City of Greater Sudbury, and (5) receive the recommendation of a high school guidance counsellor. Laurentian University Application for Entrance Awards required.
