The Joe Fabbro Memorial Award


Established by the City of Greater Sudbury, friends and colleagues of the late Joe Fabbro to commemorate his numerous accomplishments as a businessman and local politician. Mr. Fabbro was a long-time mayor of the City and later, Chair of the Regional Municipality of Sudbury until his death in 1978. Value: $300. Recipient: a student residing in the City of Greater Sudbury who is entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a general or specialized Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (min. 70% average in the previous year.) Must not be in receipt of any other major award. Application for In-Course Awards required.
