The "Elmer McVey Bursary" is awarded to a full or part-time student in the Labour and Trade Union Studies program, must belong to or belonged to a trade union affiliated to the Canadian Labour Congress; or the connection can be the current or former involvement of a member of their immediate family or must show a demonstration of participation in labour and/or community activism promoting the values of the labour movement and demonstrate financial need.
