Two $9,000 scholarships have been endowed by The Simons Foundation to encourage women entering doctoral programs. One award is available in the humanities or social sciences and the second in science or applied science. The recipients will be outstanding women scholars with potential for significant contribution to society through achievement in their chosen field. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
