Okanagan College Tuition Entrance Awards for Mature Students


Up to 30 awards of $500 each will be granted as a credit towards tuition fees at Okanagan College. Candidates will be Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants, and will be Mature Students (per Okanagan College Calendar definition) who are entering full-time study in eligible programs. Eligible programs include: university transfer programs; degree programs; diploma programs; vocational, trades, and health certificate programs; and full-time Continuing Studies certificate programs (approved by Education Council). Selection of recipients will be based on a combination of financial need and volunteer service to their community. Applicants must provide details of their volunteer service to their community, AND INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE REFERENCE LETTER confirming their community involvement.
