A scholarship of $200 is awarded to a student in the Faculty of Medicine. The scholarship is awarded to a student who has a good academic record and shows ability and promise for research in medical fields. The financial circumstances of the candidate may be considered. The donors express the hope that future study by the recipient may include research into the cause and prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome which is the number one cause of death in infants after the first week of life. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
