AVAILABLE TO: A student graduating from a secondary school in the Mission School District in the year they receive the award.
CRITERIA:
1. An outstanding student with a high grade point average.
2. The student will have been accepted into a program of studies at UCFV.
3. The student will provide a written statement of their intention to pursue studies in a health-related field after completion of high school, of not less than one year at UCFV. For example, a recipient might intend to pursue their studies in Nursing at UCFV, or transfer after one or more years at UCFV to another institution to pursue health-related studies such as medicine, dentistry, or a similar field.
