Epilepsy Scholarship

Each year, our Society awards $1,000 scholarships to British Columbians living with epilepsy who are entering, or are in a post-secondary program. These scholarships can be applied towards tuition, books, on-campus housing, or any other academic expense. To be eligible, a student must be 16 years or older, a Canadian citizen or have landed immigrant status, under a physicians' care for epilepsy, and a current member of the BC Epilepsy Society. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of educational commitment, volunteer work, and other achievements or interests.

In 2013, we awarded eight more $1000 scholarships to applicants throughout the province. We are proud to have supported these students, and look forward to contributing to the success of many more each year. We've awarded 54 scholarships since 2007.
