The Okanagan Chef's Association has established an annual award of $500 in memory of Egon Braam for a student who has completed the third year of the Cook Training Apprenticeship program at Okanagan College. The recipient must be pursuing their Journeyman ticket and a career as a Professional Chef, and must be a current junior member of the CCFCC. Selection of the award recipient will be based on academic achievement. Application for the award is not necessary; all students fulfilling the aforementioned criteria will be considered.
