David Clements Family Teacher Bursary


This award, created by the family of David Clements, a long-time Comox Valley school teacher and resident, is available to a full-time North Island College student whose goal is to become a teacher. The recipient of this award will be a grade 12 graduate from School District #71 (Comox Valley) who has successfully completed one year or university transfer courses and is continuing on to year two at NIC. Preference will be given to a student whose interests in the arts, athletics, community service, and/or outdoor pursuits can be used to enhance their teaching career. The bursary will be applied to the student's tuition account for the second year of study.
