Conditions: Awarded annually to a student of superior academic achievement majoring in Geology who is entering the fourth year of a BSc Honors program. The recipient's program should emphasize courses related to petroleum exploration (stratigraphy, sedimentology, paleontology and geologically oriented computer applications). Other criteria may include keen interest in geology, participation in university and community affairs and economic need.
