Conditions: Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of a degree program in one of the following engineering disciplines: civil, mechanical, mineral, electrical, geological, metallurgical, computer, mining, surveying or petrochemical. Recipient will be chosen on the basis of academic standing, evidence of maturity, extracurricular activities, work experience, and community involvement. This award is renewable for the second, third, and fourth years provided the student maintains superior academic standing.
